Netscape Certificate Server and Apache-SSL

We are currently running Netscape Certificate server 1.01 and have been
issuing SSL certificates for our secure servers. We'd like to switch over
to Apache-SSL.

We're currently testing Apache-SSL 1.2.6/SSLeay-0.8.1 and, though it works
perfectly with a test certificate generated with SSLeay, we'd really like
to issue a certificate from the NS Cert server.

Has anyone successfully done this? We'd like to have Apache-SSL use the
Netscape server as its Certificate Authority and as the issuer of its
certificate.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
