I suspect the problem is with the Netscape clients, yes.  They're very
sensitive to distinguished name formation, as we found out with their own
secure servers and signing units (hence our planned move to Apache).

I am a little unclear on the match|supplied|optional policy settings,
however.

Not really an SSL related issue.  We're just trying to get Kerberos
authentication to work. The first step was getting the SSL part of it all
out of the way.
