Naah. The idea of truly one-time init is a sensible notion for a complex
module; that's why this issue is cropping up. Letting it go thru the
start routine twice just looks funny and prompts idiot questions :-)
Let me see what our development team can come up with in the way of a
patch . . . we're working on producing a stable Apache-SSL + fastcgi
codebase for glibc6 Linux anyway -- we can add this action item to the
mix.
