I'm using a newly installed Redhat 5.0 and am pulling my hair out as I told
my boss it would be no problem to get SSL running.  I'd greatly appreciate
it if someone can shed some light on mty predicament.
 

You have to include

module ssl_module apache_ssl.o

in file Configuration.
