A very simple setup...
create the following directory structure:
/apache
/apache/conf
/apache/hosts
/apache/hosts/test
/apache/logs
/apache/bin
put httpsd in /apache/bin
put an appropriate httpd.conf in /apache/conf (see the web page for an
example conf - just tweak the paths)
put an index.html in /apache/hosts/test
then run:
/apache/bin/httpsd -d /apache
Since apache-ssl uses a privileged port by default, you must be root
when starting up.
