Thanks for the response.

Sorry, I didn't realise that -g was used for
debugging information, nor did I know about
-v, which was confusing me. However these three
EXTRA_CFLAGS options only appear after applying
'FixPatch':
-w3 -v -g
I also get a warning for the -w3 option -
gcc: unrecognized option `-w3'.
Is it intentional to have these three options
set that aren't strictly necessary? (An old
Apache 1.2.5/SSLeay-0.8.0 configuration I have
doesn't have these options.)
