Which OS are you on . I had the same problems. I think its something to do
with the OS. I was using the Sun Solaris (5.7) and had problems there . But
on Linux it just went fine.

Subject: [apache-ssl] patch problems
I have the following installed
slackware 7
patch 2.5.4
apache_1.3.9
openssl-0.9.4
apache_1.3.9+ssl-1.37
when I do patch -p1 < SSLpatch
I get the following:
can't find file to patch at input line 4
Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option?
The text leading up to this was:
--------------------------
|diff -u -r ../apache_1.3.9/Makefile.tmpl ./Makefile.tmpl
|--- ../apache_1.3.9/Makefile.tmpl Fri Aug 13 06:58:18 1999
|+++ ./Makefile.tmpl Mon Sep 6 16:28:06 1999
--------------------------
File to patch:
I dont seem to have a Makefile.tmpl in the current directory is this
correct?
Any ideas what is going wrong?
thanks
