I installed Apache 1.3.6+ssl some time ago, and I recently had to use it on
a public website... so here are my questions :
- does anyone have ever installed a Globalsign certificate that works with
this config ?
- does anyone have a example config file for this particular CA ?
Here are the problems : the certificate is well installed, but browsers seem
not to recognize Globalsign as a valid CA. I tested to put the chain
certificates in a file, and use the SSLCACertificateFile directive, but it
doesn't work.
I also noticed some problems with clients authentication. I don't need it,
but it seems Apache always require one (even with the directive
SSLVerifyClient set to 0 ). This verification can be bypassed on Windows,
but on MacOS (with Explorer) the browser can't access to the secured part.
