Hi.
I belive you have transfered the binary file httpd in a wrong way.
This message is very common when executing binary files transfered as a
ASCII files.
Bye. Danilo.

Subject: [apache-ssl] Apache run in compilation machine but not on others
machine
Date: Mon, 19 Jun 2000 20:36:32 -0700 (PDT)
Hi there,
I've compiled apache_1.3.12, ssl_1.40 and
openssl-0.9.5 on Sun Ultra-2, Solaris 2.5.1. It is
running fine in the compilation machine. But when I
port the apache binary to other machine Sun SS20,
Solaris 2.5.1 and run there. I've this problem when I
run httpsdctl :-
/home2/apache-ssl/bin/httpsd: syntax error at line 1:
`(' unexpected
I still get the same error even I run
httpsdctl configtest
Of coz I did make the necessary changes in the
httpd.conf file to suit Sun SS20 configuration.
Can anyone tell me how should I resolve this problem ?
Thank you.
